Came across these on Free People. Very Wang-ish without the uber-high price. And there's a strong possibility they are more comfortable. Win/Win.

As someone with a very fixed income, I simply cannot succumb to premium denim prices..especially when they are in the overall variety. I posted the Mother Denim version awhile ago and still think sweetly of their warm tobacco color and amazing fit. I'm thinking of getting my fix with the classic Carhartt version. They take care of my need for overalls(did I really say that?!) and the color. They are also lined in flannel and actually take care of my real winter needs. I'm gonna go for a Boys XL for a more fitted shape, because for once my freakishly short torso will come in handy.

Some home decor inspiration for the coming months. Moving soon and cannot wait to have a larger space to showcase some of the pieces I've already collected and to finally feel like I can buy the bigger pieces that I've held off purchasing since my place is the size of a sardine can. As you can see, I have a love for modern lines mixed with bulky antique pieces. And no matter what, I can't get avacado/magenta/teal/yellow out of my head. It's just the ideal color palette for every inch of my future home. And rugs. Hmmmmm...rugs...the older and more threadbare the better.

Tweed and Latex. The perfect marriage. Both demand clean, precise lines but offer such different feelings whilst wearing. Tweed is warm and soft and makes you feel safe. Latex is cold and hard and makes you feel dangerous. I love that clothing/textiles can give an emotion. And combining two such different emotions completes a perfect harmonious outfit.
