winter spring

winter spring

After the holidays, I started longing for Spring. Like immediately...like January 4th. Which is why I think Pre-Fall collections exists. To get people that want to jump the fashion gun seasonally and get them back to reality. Unless you live somewhere extremely mild, winter is here for at least 3 more months. To get back into the winter game, these are my stipulations to tide me over till Spring. My demands, of sorts. I, of course, thought ahead....just a little...and could see all these pieces working well transitioning into Spring. I like to call this wardrobe trickery.

13 going on 31

Most of my new year resolutions revolve around taking more chances(which hardly ever happens..since that is adventurous and I am not that adjective!) and doing what I want to do, and not what I should do. Taking time out of my regular schedule and traveling to see bands of my dreams was something I never thought I would do. But 2012 saw otherwise. I did..and it was awesome!!
2013 will be more of that and then some!!
Hope y'all do things outside of your box!
Happy New Year, Bitches!!

My dreams are of water. And my nightmares.

This is so damn good. I, especially, love the slight Siouxsie Sioux look she has going.

inch by inch

winter

I'm getting my haircut today for the first time in 2 years. It's definitely due! Even though I'm not doing anything super crazy...I'm excited for a little change and I'm sure my wardrobe will feel different and new. Isn't it weird how that works? A few inches can make certain articles of clothing look that much better! I'm excited to wear more fur, interesting collars, jewelry that my long lifeless hair was hiding/ruining.

Been too long

Loving this editorial. It's the perfect mix of ladylike and menswear inspired. All the pieces are so attainable and wearable. And I want her hair...everyday. I've also noticed a trend in editorials lately with models smiling, which is so refreshing. Fashion is not serious or depressing!
