Dark at 6

oxblood/hunter green

Ox Blood & Hunter Green just scream and yell "Fall!".
They also look exceptional with black. Therefore, I love them both equally. Like siblings.

I'm super serious about this menswear look for fall. All I want right now are the best unstructured blouses paired with a tie of some sort, whether that may be, a western string tie, bolo, bowtie, or necktie. Paired with the most plain but equally amazing pant and chelsea boot. Add interesting yet dainty rings to my phalanges to reveal that I'm, in fact, a girl!
I need Autumn and Autumn needs me. Its a love story of sorts!

As a girl, you always deep down want a song named after you or at least with your name in the lyrics. There's Elvis Costello's "Allison", Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon", Toto's "Rosanna" to name a few. Which are well and good(ish). But I am over the moon that a doom metal band has a song with my name as the title. Durrr! It's not about me, but it's such a sweet song and right up my alley!! And thank the heavens above that Elvis Costello never wrote a song using my name because his music makes me want to rip the faces off babies.

So so serious

This makes me yearn for the autumn even more than I already am. Taking a classic anorak and adding fur. Yes please!
And it's affordable. Damn right.

Bridget Hall

One of my favorites from the 90's. I always loved her freckles and "I don't give a shit" look in her eyes.

Say it ain't so

Stoked to have another chance for a pleated skirt with metal edges...but also kinda bummed Zara ripped off the Versace x H&M collab...is nothing sacred anymore?....

I wrote a few posts ago about my clean eating journey and wanted to share some links to recipes that I've made and that are easy and delicious! Because of clean eating, I'm becoming more and more comfortable in the kitchen...which is an awesome feeling!

what the.....

This is my jam at the moment.
Seriously. Listen to this when no one is home and you're getting ready in the morning and trying to figure out what to wear and drinking the last of the coffee. You will, in fact, dance around in your underwear and do reeeeal nerdy dance moves!
Her voice reminds me of Steve Perry, which makes the world a better place.
Oh..and this is best listened at maximum volume....so you can't hear yourself try to emulate her insane range!!

Good God Man! It's so refreshing to see a light heartedness to an editorial!!
And the fact that the spread is showcasing my favorite genre...Bohemian Goth. Durr.

Daphne Groeneveld

I love her lil' neanderthal forehead.
