Bottega Veneta AW13
This makes my heart happy and stimulates my brain. I'm excited that Tomas Maier took his cue from the 1940's but completely modernized it. Peplums re-imagined vertical and upside down. Using abstract expressionism style of art to quietly nod to the artist of that period.Taking the modern black dress and speeding it forward to the future with details from the past(Asian and Noir). This show felt new and inspiring, which honestly, is the first for AW13 so far. Bravo, BV!
